Here's a reply from The Hawks' in Cambridge about founding our local chapter:
"Dear Bill,
I'm sure that there is no body (individual or group) from which you need formal approval to set up a local chapter – indeed those of us still ploughing the furrow here in Cambridge are only to delighted to hear of such enterprise. I shall include a note about it in The Hawk, and create an entry for you in the web site. I hope you will keep us posted with how it goes, and events that you organise.
All the best
Tim Ellis"
Do you know of any other local Old Hawks that we can co-pt? Regards,
Good to reconnect, Bob! So you and I are now the officers of The Hawk's Club DC Metro Chapter. The only two members so far., But let's spread the word more widely. I will contact the Club to tell them that we are on the board. If we get a few more, we can have a big reunion at a good pub near the harbor. Cheers, mate,

login/register and update your profile and contact details. They still have you living somewhere in England! Cheers,
Bill
