Here's a reply from The Hawks' in Cambridge about founding our local chapter:
"Dear Bill,
I'm sure that there is no body (individual or group) from which you need formal approval to set up a local chapter – indeed those of us still ploughing the furrow here in Cambridge are only to delighted to hear of such enterprise. I shall include a note about it in The Hawk, and create an entry for you in the web site. I hope you will keep us posted with how it goes, and events that you organise.
