- Briefly: PhD (Cantab) 1996. I live in the heart of DC where I am currently working as a consultant for the US Federal Gov't. I am a volunteer firefighter / EMT and fire / EMS instructor in Loudoun County Virginia - while it doesn't put my education to use, it's a lot more fun that spending the day in an upholstered box.
